12 December 2005

Senthil's (Vicky's younger bro) "O" level examinations were over and I had promised to bring him out one of these days and Monday seemed like the perfect day to do so. We had decided on 'Downtown East' initially but the recent events reported in the papers about how 2 very young kids were thrown off from a roller coaster made us decide otherwise and head on down to the zoo instead.

So the people who were going - Myself, Vicky, Senthil (her bro) and Senthil anna (my cousin). Yes, apparently there were 2 Senthils on that day. Haha, talk about conicidence. Anyway, we met at 1 and never stopped till the clocked struck 6pm. Phew, all that walking about all over the zoo got Vicky and myself so exhausted but Senthil (her bro) seemed to be oozing of energy from god-knows-where. I wish I was as enthusiastic as him when it came to animals. Haha. Senthil anna seemed to be pretty cool with it as well. Hmmm, I think both Vicky and I were more interested in taking photos with great scenic views rather than the looking at the gorgeous things at the zoo. Ok, so not all the animals were gorgeous. I was just exaggerating!

We took a bus to CCK, to this eatery where Guna was supposed to meet us for dinner. In the journey, both the Senthils were betting with one another that each time the bus stops, both Vicky and I will take a snapshot of ourselves which of course, didn't happen. Ha, but Vicky was contemplating that though. So, the guys know us well enough but so what? It's not so bad being a photo/camera whore. Hahahaha! Oops, Vicky I hope I din offend ya when I said that!

Anyway, dinner was good. We had some very enlightening conversation and poor Vicky was the victim for the night, getting bombarded left, right and centre from all 3 guys and all I was seated down, helplessly not knowing how to help my dear friend out. But it was all in the name of good fun, so I bet Vicky took it good naturedly.

After dinner, we walked down to the recreation park just next to the eatery and had a few photo taking sessions which turned out rather well, I should say. And after a few more minutes of chit-chat and a round of phone calls from all the parents, enquiring about our whereabouts, we decided it was time to get back home and so we bid our farewells but not before promising each other, another day of such fun!
