A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! People are still talking abt my birthday party! Hehe. Yes, good stuff not bad ones. I hear adjectives like smashing party, awesome food, great entertaiment and gorgeous b'day gal. Hee hee! And it's already been 5 days! Good sign tt the party was a successful one. Not bad at all. All thanks to Mr & Mrs Palanisamy! Muahahahah! Makes me so H-A-P-P-Y!

This leads me to talk abt something that someone asked me online last night.

Person X : Babe, why didn't you call Punitha up on stage to speak abt you during your birthday? I thought it was weird since u guys are so close.

Sajeetha : Punitha & I are still close, but it's just tt we dunno wads exactly happening in one
another's lives anymore. She's not been involved in the major part of my life since
the time we graduated cos we simply became too busy with our own lives to update
one another with our daily happenings.. calling her at tt point in time didn't seem
important to me. But things btw us are still the same. I love her as much as I always
did.

Person X: Oh ok. I thought what only.

Funny isn't it? How a particular action can bring abt several thoughts from many, varying from one conclusion to another. Oh well, I think my chinese friends are uncomplicated. No offence to the countless amt of Indian friends I have, it's just tt the politics amg friends is a lot lesser amg my chinese friends than compared to those of the Indians. I still can't put my finger to it.

They're very simple people, they dun gossip behind other's backs and treat everyone equally. Strange but it's almost non existent among my Indian friends. Sad, isn't it? I called up Lynette on stage tt night. Hong Yan & Jeanette had nothing to say or feel bad abt why I didn't call either one of them up since we were all EQUALLY close. I called Charlotte on stage tt night. Eunice and Mel or even Rosenna had nothing to say tho our degree of closenss is relatively the same.

If I had called Punitha on stage tt night, there wld have been many others who wld have felt bad or offended I didn't call them cos in any one point of time, either one or the other had somehow played a vital role in my life. I can't please all, could I? And I couldn't disappoint either one as well so I opted for the safer choice - My lovable chinese friends who have been equally or sometimes much more involved in my life, who've been thru the ups and downs with me.

It's easier being friends with them. Along the way, I've lost gd Indian friends but not a single chinese or malay.. It goes to show I guess, that how different the friendship with my own race is when compared to those outside my race.

I find that very disturbing...
