Sunday was purely put aside for the family. I'm usually always out for the rest of the days so I decided tt I'd be a fillial daughter and spend a entire Sunday with my parents and sister. Dad suggested we go and visit our new house since there was a pre-launch 'party' held tt day and we were cordially invited to join in the so-called fun. And so we did.

Our unit has pretty much been done up, together with the walls, doors, garden space etc. The only thing left to be is the wiring and other technical aspects of the house. The idea of having a 'mini garden' in front of your house sounds very appealing and tho I'm gonna miss living in Holland Village like crazy, a small part of me can't wait to move in to the new house. It's high time both Deeps and I have our own rooms, where we can have a little privacy of our own. It's not as if we are both so secretive abt our lives towards each other that we need our own breathing space but I guess it's just the age. When u are 18 and 21, there are certain things you wanna do on your own or save it just for yourself and when u share a room with a sibling, it hardly can be achieved.

Hmm, but after spending 18 years with her, it sure is gonna feel awkward sleeping all alone without having company, without having anyone to talk to late in the nights, to watch a movie and pig out and who am I gonna hug to sleep and cry on when Senthil picks a fight with me at the wee hours of the morning? And to make it worse, our rooms aren't even side by side. They're a room apart, which according to me is quite far. Argh!

Going back to the new house. The facilities are indeed added bonus and facing our unit, is the pool, the bbq pit, the children's plastic junkyard (playground). How cool is that? I'm feel like I'm gonna live in a theme-park. Haha. Those are probably the pros of buying a unit on the first floor. So exciting! As I mentioned earlier, the only bad thing abt moving wld be the vicinity. It's, according to me, inaccessible and inconvenient. I mean, after living your whole life in Holland V, Lakeside wld prolly seem like a kampung or worse, jungle. I wonder what my address is gonna be. If it something, something, taman jurong, I'd just cringe and die! So tamilan kuppeh place!

Ok la, so much for whining. I'd better stop blogging and let you see some of the pictures I managed to capture without the knowledge of the security guard. Heh!
